Book recommendation: the Wizard series by Diane Duane. They are children's novels, starting with So You Want to Be a Wizard, that were written years before Harry Potter. They are SO GOOD. The magic is more science-y and smart(?), and the storyline is excellent. I think you'd enjoy them. I'm reading the second one now.

DeleteI have decided to simply succumb to YA literature, especially series. First Lemony Snicket books and now I just ordered the first 3 Wizard series by Diane Duane. You've never steered me wrong. Any other suggestions? Keep 'em comin'!
